Happy Birthday Tony Lattimore - July 19th
Tony Lattimore is one of the most energetic people I know. He's like a Chocolate Energizer Bunny, he keeps going and going and going. I've had the pleasure of knowing him since his days as a fitness tranier at the Sports Club in Irivne. Now he's taking photos for us and he's creating lasting memories for everyone.
I'm really excited to see Tony take a night off to celebrate his birthday. Now he can be the focus of attention. Once you meet him, you will see why so many people gravitate towards him. He's full of positive energy. Consider yourself blessed if he's taken your photo at our events because there are few pepople in life like Tony. Tony, from everyone here at Ones We Love, we wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Just a few photos of Tony. Tony always seems to figure out a way to get in the photos as well as be the photographer an amazing feat to say the least. He's also the best at people to do some pretty crazy things with the photo business card.
Fox Sports Grill Irvine - Closed for Business
Fox Sports Grill Irvine closed it's doors Saturday, July 28, 2008. I don't know the day they opened, but I did find a video on YouTube of the Grand Opening. Click Here for Video.
FOX Sports Grill will always have a special place in the hearts and minds of Ones We Love. It was one of our very first "BIG" clients. Over a period spanning three years we helped them by inviting hundreds of people to our CHILL at the GRILL promotion on Fridays.
First, it started out as a Video DJ from 9pm - 2am in 2005 to help during the slow summer months. Then in 2006 it expanded to happy hour on Fridays and ran all year long. If you were ever a guest at FOX Sports Grill, you probably remember some of our flyers. Click Here for Event Flyers.
In addition to CHILL at the GRILL, we enjoyed Superbowl MAX Parties, the Anahiem Ducks Stanley Cup Game 4 Viewing Party, an Oscars Viewing party and several LiveNation concert after parties including: Counting Crows, Mary J. Blige, Gwen Stefani and Earth Wind and Fire.
We promoted several charity events at Fox Sports Grill. Two that come to mind are the Donation Day event we produced to help raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and a putting contest to benefit the NFL Alumni Caring for Kids foundation. Because Fox was such an important client, we even went to their New York and Houston locations to do one-off promotions.
Over the course of our three years with FOX Sports Grill, we worked with some great people. All of the managers, cocktail servers, bartenders and executives we encountered were great. We met thousands of people, too many to mention by name, but all are appreciated.
Whether it was a Lakers Game or during football season, FOX Sports Grill in Irvine was a great place to hang out in Orange County. In November 2007, we stopped doing OWL promotions at FOX Sports Grill. There was a lot of employee turnover and the thought was to let things get better internally and then discuss ways to help as we had done in the past once things had improved.
I've spoken to several key people at Fox Sports Grill and they plan to reopen in a new location in Orange County. Although I'm aware of the proposed location, the date and the specifics are still being determined. We'll be looking forward to their new location. For now, thanks for the memories.
